this is what’s throwing me. He’s left no trace of dna, struggle, witnesses or evidence. If his actions and story wasn’t so stupid, I would believe she had ran away.

the car may have been used for travel but I feel it can’t be an active crime scene or there would be some evidence left
His story is very stupid but if he has committed murder and disposed of a body which has not been found and left no traces behind then perhaps he is cleverer than we think ! My guess is that they expected the missing story to be believed and were not expecting much police involvement. Hence not preparing a good story beforehand.

I believe it was planned too. But are you thinking it was a joint plan or him acting alone?

it certainly appears from the data evidence like it was a joint enterprise but I can’t think of a motive on her part - that’s a big stumbling block!

Her thoughts of losing the kids I believe

But why would she lose the kids if she had done nothing wrong? Bernadette was her child too. Why was she less important than the others?

That all makes a lot of sense to me. So are you thinking the suitcase was buried too?
Yes I don't think it would be usable after storing a body.

The problem is Sarah offered the explanation to people that her daughter may have been taken by Eastern Europe people traffickers.

Thats why it's thought that the them travelling to cowbit was a decoy to give this impression. As there's a Eastern European shanty town or camp there.

Also, Can't comment on why the family want to start looking for remains now but it was myself that had mentioned it as I was asking if there were any searches other than police searches,

I think no matter what information comes out the phone pings, the phone being switched off at intervals and then from what I can see Bernadette's phone going missing after the pings in cowbit, if the police aren't searching for her body any longer the second best option is for people to go out and get as many people as possible looking

To do with the sexual abuse, in BW note she said that SaW had threatened to kill her if she told the police about the sexual abuse with ScW

Yes but why ? is my point. Why was SaW so worried about the police knowing about ScW s abuse that she would threaten to kill her? I can see ScW having a motive but it was not SaW who had done the abusing so she had nothing to fear

I'm not sure it was exactly the prospect of losing her children, I think it was what came with that - how she would be seen as a neglectful mother, and also losing the kids benefits, her house, perhaps even the scandal affecting her job as a carer, basically undermining everything that was holding her in the position she was in where she was in control.

It sounds like she blamed Bee as well and I don't see her as being particularly fond of Bee. I can't imagine my daughter telling me over a text, under the same roof, of such a traumatic experience and sending texts back! Not actually talking to her face to face and holding her. She doesn't have the nurturing, empathic instinct I don't think, it's ALL about Sarah.

As the prosecutor said “All parental love and responsibility had gone - if it had ever existed."

Yes I was shocked to hear that the abuse was revealed by text messages I had thought it was face to face ! I did wonder though if they were both under the same roof though. Could Sarah have been spending the night at boyfriends house? Perhaps she often stayed there leaving ScW at home in charge of the kids and BW at risk from him?

Yes possibly. Although she was there the next day to tell Bee she was a liar, and to take her phone away and dispatch her to 'grandparents' to own up to her 'lies', so it's no different really, her reaction face to face was cold, dismissive and angry.

Sarah was at her boyfriend's when Bee disclosed the abuse, because Chris her bf, described Sarah's reaction to the text message in court. He said she was both upset and angry.

Sarah reacted by telling Bee if she tells anyone then social services will take the children away.

Out of interest does anyone here live close to Peterborough? I'm desperate to get searching for this poor girl but it doesn't seem like anyone else wants to join me or is to far away

But what about the smell? The temperature inside the car in high summer ? DNA left behind in the car from bodily fluids? Have to disagree with you on this one.
The body might not start to smell like a rotting corpse for 2-3 days and, if strangled, would not start to leak fluids for 3-5 days. Her DNA was all of the family car anyway. And he had nearly an 8 week window to dispose of evidence and clean up.
