GUILTY UK - Bernadette Walker, 17, murdered then hidden, Peterborough, 18 Jul 2020 *Parents Sentenced* #6

I grew up just around the corner from that field. The local kids were drawn to it because you could get up to more mischief than in the rec. It certainly has the feel of a deposition site.
Same here, we used to get up to all sorts back there, I've always got a creepy vibe from the place bit that's down to what happened before. I agree it would be "ideal" in that sense.. I've also just found 2 more bomb shelters (pill boxes) in Newborough I never saw before, will check them out after work.

Yeah, sinister vibes. My pal was always trying to drag me there to show me 'the pit' which was some sort of deep hole with steep sides, but I was always too scared. Probably the excavation holes for one of the houses.

Trying to get into murderer's head, would you put a dead body there? It's well hidden but still in a highly populated area.

Oh I remember the pit now you mention it, definitely worth looking into, there's quite a bit of shrubbery and a wooded area which would be perfect for deposition,
And regarding getting into his head..its a difficult one with scw, he goes from aware and calculating to clumsy and reckless (with the wild goose chase being their own downfall and all)

Thoughts and prayers with you Sarah. You must be going through unimaginable hell right now.
FYI Sarah was sentenced to 6 years for perverting the course of justice in Bernadette's murder case. Bernadette wrote in her diary that her step father Scott was sexually abusing her and when she told her mum Sarah she didn't believe her. All detailed in the trial.

I have zero sympathy for Sarah.

My tongue is placed firmly in my cheek.

Just looking at this picture posted on SW's Facebook page less than two weeks before the murder. The convicted felons are pictured smiling together by the sea and there's only one like - Bernadette. The utter betrayal.

The other thing that strikes me in retrospect is that SaW must have known the case against SW was a strong one from prosecution disclosure to her defence team but at no time did she cooperate with the prosecution. Instead, she refused to testify in court in the murder of her own daughter.

I see AW has made some nice posts about B in his Find my Sister page recently. Not a whiff of SaW. She's probably busy out looking for her daughter.
What has been posted? Some of us will not have access as it's now a private group. Just the gist of it. I'm sure SaW knows where BW is. Probably within 20 minutes walking radius of Uldale Way. SaW was lazy so wouldn't do much more than that in the early hours in the rain each way plus digging a hole.

I meant ScW not SaW of course. That point where he walked 8 steps round the back of the car (to get the spade?) then (left his phone in the boot) and walked to BW in order to bury her. It's somewhere around the Gowthorpe mast. He was such a lazy bloke that it wouldn't be more than that. He claimed a bad back but he could easily dig a hole in soft ground. It's a narrow radius, so I'm surprised the Police didn't get the cadaver dogs over that whole area. Perhaps they would have if BW was more high profile.

That really is heartbreaking!
One of the saddest parts of all this is how much she seems to care for her family only to get betrayed in the most vile way imaginable!

Me and my friend have spent a lot of time around the areas searching over the holidays, abandoned properties and woodlands etc, I still believe she could be in the same areas we discussed before, even dug a few suspected locations but at the minute the ground is very waterlogged, but I also noticed a lot of clay in the ground,I'm wondering if maybe that was a factor into why the cadaver dogs couldn't pick up a scent, under clay and water I imagine a lot of potential scent would be covered up?
