Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help in locating a missing woman from Thatcham.

Bethany Privett, aged 23, was last seen in Bath Road at around 2pm today (16/2).

She is white, around 5ft tall, slim, with long blonde hair that is shaved underneath.

When she was last seen, Bethany was wearing a mustard coloured puffa-style jacket.

She is known to frequent the local Thatcham area.

Detective Inspector Alice Broad, based at Newbury police station, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Bethany’s welfare and are asking for the public’s help in finding her.

“If anyone thinks they have seen Bethany or may know where she is, please contact us by call 101 quoting reference 1193 of 16 February.”

So it's been like 6 hours? Seems quick for them to be looking for an adult.
 
She made her last Facebook post seven hours ago - why on Earth would the police cause this kind of fuss? There is presumably something important we don't know.

There probably is. You do see a few come up very quickly ar times and you wonder, especially with a 23yo, not like a 13yo. But would imagine there is some cause for concern, either through circumstances or for her mental well-being.

She is described as white, around 5ft tall, slim, with long blonde hair that is shaved underneath.

When she was last seen wearing a mustard coloured puffa-style jacket.

She is known to visit the Thatcham area.
