FIND HIM
Police stop hundreds of people in search for missing Scotstoun man Bryan Glencross who vanished two weeks ago

POLICE have stopped hundreds of people in a desperate bid to find missing Glasgow man Bryan Glencross who vanished two weeks ago.

Now officers have carried out a stop and speak operation speaking to 250 people in a frantic search for Bryan, from Scotstoun, with concerns growing for his safety.

His family have been left worried sick as it is extremely unusual for him not to be in contact with them for this long.

Chief Inspector Morag Lister, Drumchapel Police Office, said:

“Our team of officers managed to speak to a huge number of people today and we would like to thank the public for taking the time to assist us.

“It is really unusual for Bryan not to be in regular contact with his family and friends and given we know he had injured himself prior to going missing it is vital that we can find him as soon as possible.

"We will continue to appeal for anyone who may have any information, or dash-cam from the vicinity of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital around 3.30 am on Friday 31 May.

"You may have a sighting of him that can help us trace his movements.

"We would also continue to ask people who live in the area to check any outbuildings in case he tried to seek shelter. We urge anyone who knows of his whereabouts to get in touch with us."

Anyone with any information as to contact Drumchapel Police Office via 101, quoting incident number 2186 of Saturday 1 June 2019.

Bryan Glencross missing - police hold stop and speak operation two weeks on from disappearance

They spoke with more than 250 members of the public and handed out leaflets, in an attempt to gather any information they could.

As previously reported by Glasgow Live, Bryan has been going through a tough time and his family and friends are desperate to track him down.

He had been taken to the hospital after a fall, but left before receiving treatment.

He is described as being 5'7" tall, thin build, with brown receding hair, blue eyes and tanned complexion.

When last seen he was wearing a blue ‘Berghaus’ coloured zipper jacket, white T-Shirt, grey jogging bottoms and black training shoes.

'The baby would make him happy': Daughter of missing Bryan Glencross gives birth
Bryan’s Daughter Khloe gave birth to a gorgeous little girl on Monday. I really hope Bryan turns up safe & sound soon, his daughter really needs him home. Can’t even begin to image how she’s feeling right now. Dad missing 20 days, a new baby & her hormones all over the place. I hope her new baby daughter gives Khloe the strength she needs.

I really hope & pray this has a happy ending but I’m struggling to image Bryan just turning up. There have been no sightings of him at all since 3.30am on 31st May. I wonder if Bryan really did fall in his neighbours house or if that was the story given to paramedics, perhaps a fight broke out and that story was given not to alert the police?
I worry about Bryan’s state of mind leaving the hospital without treatment.
