Found Deceased UK - Daniel Ludkin, 36, last seen near a hospital, Leicester, 11 Jun 2024

Officers are concerned for the welfare of a man who has been reported missing from the Glenfield area. Daniel Ludkin was last seen in Groby Road, near the Glenfield Hospital, around 9.05am yesterday. He is 36-years-old, 5ft 10ins tall, of slim build, with short brown hair. He has a tattoo on his forearm with the words ‘Danny Boy’ and a barcode tattoo on the back of his neck. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded top, green T-shirt and black jogging bottoms.

Officers searching for a missing man have found a body.

Police were called to an area off Groby Road just after 5.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 12 June) following a report that the body of a man had been found.

Although formal identification has not taken place at this time, it is believed to be that of Daniel Ludkin.

Daniel, 36, had last been seen in Groby Road, near the Glenfield Hospital, around 9.05am on Tuesday (Tuesday 11 June).

The death is not believed to be suspicious and HM Coroner has been informed. Specially trained officers are providing support to Daniel’s family.
