The family of missing Carlisle man Dean Beaty are releasing a new photo as they continue their appeal for anyone with information on his whereabouts to get in touch.

Dean is 38 and has not been seen since Wednesday, December 7th, 2022.

He is 6ft tall and of medium build with brown hair.

Officers are continuing to conduct enquiries to locate Dean and are urging anyone with information no matter how small to contact us.

We would also ask Dean, if he sees this appeal, to contact the police or his family to let them know he is safe.

The family of man missing since December 7 have issued a desperate plea for him to come home.

Carlisle man Dean Beaty, 38, is 6ft and of medium build with brown hair.

Mr Beaty’s family said: “Dean, you are not in any trouble. As a family we all love and miss you and are extremely worried about you. Just let us know if you’re okay – a call, a letter or a text.”

Sergeant Dan Hindle, of Cumbria police, said: “We are continuing enquiries to locate Dean in order to establish his welfare.

“Somebody must know where Dean is and we are appealing for any information, regardless of how trivial it may seem.

“We’d like to thank those members of the public who have already provided information, including possible sightings, to the police. We’d ask people to review any CCTV or dashcam footage they have if they think they may have seen Dean.

“We would also ask Dean, if he sees this appeal, to contact the police or his family to let them know he is safe.”

Police identify body found on beach as missing Carlisle man

THE body of a man found on a beach earlier this week has been confirmed as missing 38-year-old man Dean Beaty.

We can confirm that the body of a man found on the beach near Glasson at around 5:30pm on Tuesday 18 April has been formally identified as 38-year-old Dean Beaty from Carlisle.

The death is being treated as not suspicious.

A file is being prepared for the coroner.
