another girl, who was friends with Elianne, explained that the group had met Mr Sentamu, and one of his friends, at the Whitgift shopping centre in Croydon the previous afternoon.

She said that the girls had wanted Mr Sentamu to apologise to his ex-girlfriend,

the girls had teased Mr Sentamu over his appearance, and thrown water over him,

the girls had felt scared about the meeting that was arranged for the following morning for Mr Sentamu and his ex-girlfriend to exchange belongings, and had shared messages that evening

"We were just coming up with a different conspiracies, what if he's building up his anger, but then tomorrow he's just gonna come and kill us all? Like we were making jokes out of it," she said.

The court was then played a later police interview with the girl, where she was asked about a Snapchat video she had recorded on a phone of the incident at the Whitgift Centre.

the girls can be heard encouraging each other to throw the water over Mr Sentamu, and demanding he apologise to their friend.

Crikey that's a LOT of warning signs.

The defendant, who declined to give evidence, has claimed his autism spectrum disorder caused him to lose control during the meeting to exchange belongings with his ex-girlfriend, who was Elianne’s friend.

The prosecution says he flew into a rage and had no lawful excuse for having a kitchen knife, having picked it up at home after an earlier incident of perceived disrespect.

This is absolutely NOT FAIR attempting to blame his ASD! I understand some severe mental health conditions mean some people sometimes (when unmedicated) can be unpredictable but using USD to attempt to lesser his sentence is disgusting!

The teenager who stabbed 15-year-old Elianne Andam to death in a row over a teddy bear has been found guilty of murder.

Hassan Sentamu, 18, attacked Elianne with a kitchen knife in "white-hot anger at having been disrespected" after she stood up for his ex-girlfriend, the Old Bailey heard.

He had been due to return items including a teddy bear to Elianne's friend following their break-up but instead came armed, wearing two pairs of gloves and a facemask.
