Officers are continuing their investigation as they try to locate 44-year-old Elizabeth Cooper, missing from the Wishaw area.
Elizabeth was last seen near to Castlehill Road around 1.30pm on Wednesday 21st September 2022. She has not been seen since and her family are growing increasingly concerned.
Elizabeth is around 5ft 9 inches in height with a medium build. She has long brown hair and was last seen wearing a black coloured long sleeved blouse with red and pink designs on it, light blue jeans, brown boots and carrying a turquoise hand bag.
Extensive enquiries are ongoing with friends and family and officers are reviewing CCTV in the local area.
Sergeant Michael Anderson has said "We are concerned for Elizabeth's welfare. No one has heard from her since Wednesday afternoon. The family are understandably very worried and only want to know she is safe and well.
"I would ask that anyone with information as to her whereabouts to contact us on 101 quoting incident number 2619 of 21st September 2022."
