CONCERN is growig for the welfare of a teenager with Wirral links who was reported missing almost a week ago.

Emma Winiarowska was last seen on Sunday (Febuary 13) at a care home in Stockport at around 8pm and extensive enquiries are ongoing to find her.

The 14-year-old is 4' 12" tall, of slim build, with long light brown plaited hair and blue eyes.

She is known to frequent Liverpool but may also travel to Kirkby and Birkenhead.

Concern grows for welfare of missing Emma, 14

I've seen nothing more on this case. I get the impression that young people who go missing from this part of the UK (i.e. Merseyside and its surroundings) tend to be missing much longer than those from elsewhere before finally being found. Hopefully it will only be a matter of time before Emma turns up safe and sound.
