Fiona McMaster, 41, was reported missing having last been seen outside Marks and Spencer in Morningside Road in Edinburgh at around 4.40pm on August 8. Police now believe she is in the Glasgow area after she was seen with a man buying food in the Key Store on Great Western Road on Sunday August 12.

Ms McMaster is white, around 5ft 7in tall with a heavy build and shoulder-length dark brown curly hair. She was last seen wearing a red fleece and a grey jumper with a pink t-shirt underneath and grey trainers. She was carrying a dark rucksack and a large shopping bag.

A WOMAN at the centre of a massive police search after she vanished two weeks ago may be in the company of a mystery man, police revealed.

Detectives released CCTV images of Fiona McMaster, 41, and the unknown man captured by a security camera in a Glasgow shop.

She has since failed to return home or make contact with family or friends.

Police now believe she is in the Glasgow area after she was spotted in the Key Store on Great Western Road on Sunday August 12 with the man – whom police are desperate to identify.

Inspector Graeme Nisbet said last night: “As part of our ongoing investigation we are eager to trace this male and Fiona as soon as possible, to ensure she is safe and well.

“We ask anyone who may have seen Fiona or believe they know where either Fiona, or this man, can be found to come forward.

“I would also ask that Fiona get in touch with us, or with family or friends, and let us know she is alright.”
