Southampton residents urged not to approach Jason Merriman -

People in Southampton have been warned not to approach a man who has been missing for two days. Police believe that Jason Merriman may have links to Southampton and could be behaving irrational due to his mental health problems. The 43-year-old was last seen on Friday lunch time as he left The Oaklands Centre for Acute Care in Chichester on unescorted leave. He was due back the same afternoon but has so far failed to return.
