Circumstances of Disappearance:
James was last seen in the Tan-y-Coed area on October 13, 2017. There were reported sightings of him in Glascoed in Monmouthshire, Swansea, and the Poppleton area of North Yorkshire, but nothing was confirmed. James' family stated that it was out of character for him to not be in contact, as he regularly visited his sister and her family. It was reported that James was unwell at the time of his disappearance, and that if he did not have access to medication, he could pose a risk to himself or others. Searches were conducted at the nearby Goytre Hall woods and areas where he would frequent, but James was never located.
