The family of a woman missing for a month have issued an emotional plea for information.

Reanne Coulson, 34, from Coventry, was last seen on 21 May when CCTV captured her at St Mary & Benedict Church in Raglan Street at about 21:45 BST.

Her sister Kirsten Coulson said she was "loved by many" and it was "out of the ordinary" for her to not return home.

A 53-year-old man who was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of murder and kidnap remained in custody, West Midlands Police said.
Ms Coulson said her sister was known to work as a sex worker in the area where she went missing and urged anyone who had seen her to get in touch.

"Her lifestyle has not been easy for the past few years and we as a family are aware that she lives a chaotic life.

A second arrest
Police have made a second murder arrest in hunt for missing Coventry mum Reanne Coulson. Detectives have confirmed that a 42-year-old suspect, who has not been identified, was arrested in the early hours of today (June 24) on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.

It is the second arrest as the investigation continues into the disappearance of sex worker Reanne Coulson, who has not been seen since May 21. Officers have also confirmed that a 53-year-old man who was previously arrested in connection with her disappearance has been released on bail.

They have said that this is with strict conditions while the investigation continues. Detective Superintendent Jim Munro, who is leading the investigation, said: "Our investigation is moving very quickly and this second arrest is a significant development."

Here is her Facebook - she is a mother, though she hasn't updated FB since 2022 with any recent photos of she or the children.

“Is there anybody out there that knows anything about Reanne’s disappearance?

“From one parent to another, you can only imagine how I’m feeling.

“Please come forward to give our family some closure. I just want my baby back.”

"Today, as a result of information received as part of the investigation, specialist teams including police dogs are searching Binley Woods as well as other areas of land in neighbouring Warwickshire.”

“I believe people in the Coventry area know what has happened to her. It may be that they are reluctant to come forward with information, but it’s vital that they do.
“Reanne is so loved by her family. Please do the right thing and help us find her, for their sake.”

Looking at the footage, there's two possible witnesses who could have seen where she went after the food bank:

There is sad news coming through about Reanne. Coventry Police have issued the following statement:

Officers searching for missing Reanne Coulson have today found a body as a man has been charged with her murder.

We made the discovery in Binley Woods earlier this afternoon.

Formal identification will need to take place but the family of 34-year-old Reanne have been informed. We're continuing to support them at this distressing time.

Mohammed Durnion was arrested as part of the investigation into her disappearance.

The 42-year-old has now been charged with murder. He has been remanded to appear before Coventry Magistrates Court tomorrow (28 June).

A second man has also been charged with assisting an offender.

Adam Moore, aged 38 from Coventry, will appear before the same court tomorrow.

Det Insp Nigel Box said he was interested in hearing from anyone who may have information, or dash cam, mobile phone or video footage relating to the area from 22 May, especially at about 07:30 BST.

He said: "We want to hear from anyone who visits Binley Woods, particularly near Gossett Lane, at the end of the Twelve O'clock Ride, whether you are a dog walker, cyclist or runner."

He also said police believed a fire was started at some point in the day and asked for anyone who saw that.

At Warwick Crown Court on Thursday, Mohammed Durnion, 42, pleaded not guilty to murdering Ms Coulson on 21 May.

A second man, Adam Moore, 38, appeared in the dock beside him and denied one count of assisting an offender by helping in the disposition of Ms Coulson's body on 22 May.

Judge Kristina Montgomery KC remanded both men into custody to appear for a further case management hearing on 3 October.

The pair are set to face a trial at the same court in March.
