27 year old Kristofer Mitchell of Bryn Bevan has been arrested and and appeared in court charged with murder, following the discovery of Caerleon woman Jessica 'Jess' Watkins' body at an address in Bryn Bevan, Newport, Wales, On Monday. She was 21 years old.

Mitchell's due in court tomorrow morning again, for a prelimary hearing. He's charged with murdering Jess between May 3rd and 6th.

I'm afraid I haven't been able to find any of the FB tribute pages mentioned.

It's very sad. Jessica attended Coleg Gwent. The same college Nida Naseer attended, who was also recently found deceased.

Kristopher Mitchell, 28, and Jessica Watkins, 21, were photographed kissing just before the horrific murder.

But Cardiff Crown Court heard Mitchell "lost it" after a night out when the two argued about being able to afford a takeaway meal. Jessica stormed off - but then Mitchell strangled her in his bathroom before getting a kitchen knife to stab her 27 times.

Mitchell admitted murdering Jessica and was jailed for life with a minimum of 16 years and eight months.
