Johanna Young was 14 when she went missing from her family home in Watton, Norfolk, on 23 December 1992. She had left home at approximately 7:30pm, and was last seen in the town of Watton at 8:45pm.
Her body was found face down in a water filled claypit three days later on Saturday 26th December, she had suffered a fractured skull but her cause of death was drowning.
The police believe that Johanna may have received the fractured skull by accident in a fall, and drag marks in the lane and on her body suggested that she had been dragged by two people and placed in the pit.
