Have only just seen this case in our local paper, The Schmargus, had not heard about this Sussex case until today, so sad and terrible, I did search for her name but appeared there was no thread until now...

Care assistant Kayleigh Hanks died at her London Road flat on July 21, 2019, at the age of 29.

Her partner Ian Paton, 36, of Snowdrop Rise, St Leonards, is accused of murdering her. He denies the charge.

The trial, at Hove Crown Court, continues.

Update, trial over, guilty verdict, only 16 year minimum term, doesn't seem long enough, he’ll be out again and still young enough to pose a danger to other women..
