Mr Lynch, of Consett, is described as being of slim build with fair hair.

Police have desperately launched an urgent appeal to find a missing man that was last seen leaving a County Durham hotel at the end of last month.

Officers from Durham Police are growing ‘increasingly concerned’ for the safety of 46-year-old Keith Lynch after he went missing after being last seen leaving the Brown Horse Hotel in Tow Law at around 5.10am on June 25 this year.

Ten days on from his disappearance, the police force has launched an appeal to locate the whereabouts from Mr Lynch, who is from Consett.

I get a bad feeling about Keith being missing for so long. He's the manager of a social club and appears to have been part of the close knit community for quite some time. I wonder what local feeling is about this

I've asked Durham Constabulary twice on twitter whether Keith is still a missing person but had no response from them. I'm assuming he's no longer missing because the official Police appeals have been removed and he's not on the Missing People site. There's only local news articles left, which is pretty typical for them to be left up even when they're out of date.

Ive no idea though, whether he's no longer missing because he's been found safe and well, found but not safe or well, found but in legal trouble, found deceased and how. Who knows

If he were deceased it could be a number of reasons for his death. So if its not suspicious I am assuming his family and loved ones don't want anything further released. Hopefully he was found alive and well. But yes as you say who knows.

I've even looked at pages run by the social club he worked at for years, but there's no mention of him. I'm surprised. I guess if friends and family wanted the public to know the outcome, it'd be out there.
