POLICE are appealing for the public's help as officers search for a vulnerable young man who has gone missing in Dorset.
Lacham Sapsford, who is 19 years old, was reported missing at 4.50pm on Friday, December 17, having last been seen in the area of St James Street, Shaftesbury.
He is described as white, around six feet five inches tall and of medium build. He is wearing a black coat, a black tracksuit and black shoes.
Chief Inspector Jamie Clark, of Dorset Police, said: “Lacham is autistic and does not speak. Due to his vulnerability, we are very concerned for his welfare.
“He is normally always in company of somebody who cares for him and will struggle being out on his own. Therefore, we urgently need to find Lacham to ensure he is safe and well.
“I would urge anyone who has seen him since his disappearance to contact us as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information or knowledge as to Lacham’s whereabouts should contact Dorset Police at dorset.police.uk/do-it-online, by emailing [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 17:499.
