Police in Fife are appealing for information to help trace Leanne Rutherford, 47, who has been reported missing from Glenrothes.

Leanne was last seen in the Cadham area around 10am on Thursday, 16 February, 2023.

She is described as 5ft 8ins tall with curly red/auburn hair. It’s believed she was wearing a light blue top with “NYC” on the front when she was last seen.

Leanne drives a silver Kia Sportage, reg: EX13 OWC.

Sergeant Davie Leslie said:

“We’re becoming increasingly concerned for Leanne’s welfare as she has not been seen since yesterday morning. This is out of character and I would appeal to anyone who recognises her or who may have seen someone matching her description in the Fife area, since Thursday morning, to please come forward.

“I would also appeal to Leanne herself. If you see this appeal, make contact with us.”

Police in Fife are continuing to appeal for information to help trace Leeanne Rutherford, 47, who has been reported missing from Glenrothes.

Leeanne was last seen in the Collydean area of the town around 10.50am on Thursday, 16 February, 2023.

She is described as 5ft 8ins tall with curly red/auburn hair. When last seen, she was wearing a black t-shirt, grey tracksuit bottoms and white trainers. She may also be wearing a light blue top with “NYC” in large letters across the chest.

Leeanne is driving a dark grey coloured Kia Sportage motor car, registration number EX13 OWC

Sergeant Jacqueline Bett said: We are becoming increasingly concerned for Leeanne’s welfare as she has not been seen since Thursday morning.

“This is out of character and I would appeal to anyone that recognises Leeanne, or who may have seen someone matching her description, or her vehicle since Thursday morning to please contact Police.

“I would also like to appeal to Leeanne herself, if you see this appeal please make contact with us.”

Concern is growing for a Scots woman who vanished over 24 hours ago.

Officers say Leanne Rutherford, 47, was last seen in the Cadham area of Glenrothes at around 10am on Thursday, February, 16.

Anyone who has any information is urged to contact police.

The body of a woman was found in a car in the Queen Elizabeth Forest Drive area near Aberfoyle around 2.30pm on Monday, 20 February, 2023.

Formal identification has yet to take place but the family of Leeanne Rutherford, reported missing from Glenrothes, have been informed.

There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
