POLICE are appealing to trace missing 54-year-old Mark Thompson.

Mark was last seen on Monday December 13 in the Eaglescliffe area.

He is described as having brown hair which is long on top and has green eyes.

Mark was last seen wearing a black coat with a hood, blue jeans, black trainers with white soles and a khaki backpack.

Officers would ask anyone who may have seen him, or anyone who may know of his whereabouts, to get in touch.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting incident number 212778.

Detectives urgently searching for a missing Teesside man have released fresh information on his possible whereabouts.

Mark Thompson, 54, was reported missing on Monday, December 13, in the Eaglescliffe area.

However, Cleveland Police say he has since been sighted at Tesco, in Eaglescliffe, on Friday at around 11.23am.

He was wearing a black coat and light coloured trousers shown in a CCTV clip from the store.

It is believed Mark has access to a grey Vauxhall Zafira, registration BK55 WFX.
