Molly Davidson's panicked family fear she may have fled to London - hundreds of miles from home - to meet the man she met on the internet, who used multiple online profiles and has now deleted them.
They say the 19-year-old is very vulnerable because of learning difficulties and had no idea she had made plans with the man.
Molly, who also has epilepsy, needs medication but her family fear she could be in danger because she only has a month's supply with her.
The teenager has not been seen or heard from since Monday, when she was spotted at Nottingham's Broadmarsh bus station, at about 1.15pm.
Her worried family believe she got a National Express coach to London's Victoria bus station, and then went to meet a youth she has been chatting to online for around six months.
clues from telephone numbers all lead to addresses in the Edmonton borough of London.
Molly may also have links to the Paddington area, as that was where police last traced her phone. "Since then it's never been on," her father said.
"We do know that she caught a bus from Nottingham to Victoria Bus Station. You could see her phone pinging as she walked around Hyde Park as though she was walking up to Paddington Station. "She did ask in Nottingham if she could get a bus to Paddington but was told they only go to Victoria.
Molly was wearing black jeans, a cream jumper with a criss-cross pattern on the back and a black zip up jacket when she was last seen. She was also wearing either black Converse or white Adidas trainers. She was carrying a brown holdall type back and a red handbag.
