A Sydney resident who returned to his home country of England to attend a festival was run over and killed after security subjected him to a 'bush tucker trial', a court has heard. Bush Tucker Trial is a popular UK reality TV show.

32-year-old Paul Wickerson was under the influence of alcohol and drugs when he became involved in an altercation with security at the Brownstock Festival in Essex, UK. Guards Brian Atkins, 49, and Gregory Maxwell, 32, are alleged to have handcuffed him, driven him four miles away and dumped him 'for sport'. He was hit by several cars and killed, just 15 minutes after that.

Both the guards are charged with kidnap and false imprisonment, which they deny.

Once you take an inebriated/high individual into your custody, TV show or not, you bear responsibility for them. Maybe not 100%, but a huge amount. I hope his family sues the network and wins.
