  Graham, 38 was reported missing on August 25, having last been seen on August 20 at around 12pm on Cumberland Street in the Gorbals.
  
  His remains were later discovered at Rubha Dubh, near Firkin Point, on September 17.
  
  Busker Lewis Cuthbert, 25, was last seen on August 4 at around 4pm in the Lesmahagow Road area of Strathaven. He remains missing.'

That clears up the location issue for me - the Kirkhill flat is the one in Rutherglen, it's not 2 separate properties.

I didn't realize the area of Rutherglen in question was also sometimes called Kirkhill. It's also interesting from the perspective of the case, as this property is very close to location of the current search that is ongoing in the Castlemilk area.

I've made a map of all of the locations that have been cited in coverage of the investigation.

So now they are saying that Graham has been dismembered and are looking for more body parts but still not going down full murder route yet? Bit strange obviously 3rd party involvement and defeating the ends of justice.

Love the map, just a question mark over the calderglen country park body, as surely they would have to confirm this as Lewis to his family asap (perhaps they do know but part of the investigation)so I don’t know if we should include this or no, but just bizarre both found on same day and apparently grahams remains hadn’t been in the water that long.

Also the man in rutherglen has not been confirmed as arrested but obviously has no access to the flat so is he detained?

Turns out to be a bigger case than first thought, although when they first said "suspected human remains", I did think it was possibly a dismembered body.

Yeah certainly twists and turns can’t help feeling the police are playing games a little.

If someone is on the the run ie Grahams neighbour from the gorbals, why would there be no public appeal for information ie have you seen? Do not approach appeal?

Its possible they haven’t found enough remains, and don’t want to spook the guy into something where they can’t extract the information to find the remains.

But the police are being very cautious, even the M.I.T (major investigation team)
Have said they don’t just deal with murders they deal with unexplained deaths. Definitely a bit of mind chess going or perhaps the missing man is in law enforcement or high profile job, it’s also confirmed that the van was a hire van and not like a works van. So looks like planned dump and run.

As someone who was born, has grown up and still stays in the Gorbals this has taken everyone here by surprise. Graham was a lovely lad with manners would not walk past anyone without saying hello

Yes, he was named in our local paper ( the digger) but usually take what the digger says with a pinch of salt!

I know the neighbour, but I know we can’t post “ hearsay” on this so I mentioned the digger too as he was named in that so was going to attach the article. But it’s subscription based and the post the digger shared on Facebook naming him has since been removed!

I’ve read it it mentions James mcginty as the rutherglen guy and James Dunn as the teacher, but there is no mention of the guy from the gorbals flat

Think the answer is definitely something to do with the gay community tho, so was just wondering if this missing man in his 50s was gay as that would confirm this theory

Or Graham & Lewis have no connection & it wast just a coincidence & because of that the police are searching maybe a little too hard to find 1. It might not be the same killer at all. But there is 1 thing though a bit strange. There is an acquaintance of the teacher or that ex of his, (not sure which), that acquaintance has a friend & that friend is family of a guy who is certainly capable of murder. But I have no idea if the cops even know that, should know that or if that's also just a coincidence. Cause it's not a very easy link to find unless you knew some background already.
