Off Topic but related
It is selfishness, they want their gravy train keep on and for the British people to keep paying up.
Just for clarity the royal family costs each of us £1 a year.

Members of my British family would respectfully disagree with that figure, but okay.

Hmm...From the BBC:
"...The prince's lawyers want to question his accuser's husband, Robert Giuffre, about their household finances and how he met his wife around 2002, according to court documents.
They also want to ask her psychologist, Dr Judith Lightfoot, about subjects they discussed at her sessions and see her doctors' notes and medicines prescribed..."
It appears Andrew will continue to reveal himself as a desperate and debauched sleaze.
Prince Andrew's lawyers say accuser may have false memories
I think it is decided that a settlement will be reached.
We've all seen that photo, and can't unsee it. And I'm no fan of Andrew in particular, and his insistence that his daughters be treated as princesses, etc. I agree it's good for him to retire from claiming all these royal privileges. It is no exaggeration to say that the reputational damage of Andrew’s staggeringly ill-advised friendships with convicted paedophiles Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell looks set to shake the foundations of the monarchy.
Analysis: Queen left with no choice but to cast Prince Andrew adrift. But is it enough? - CNN
This article was interesting, because I couldn't understand why QE would completely disengage from PA, so publicly. According to this article, QE is only "Queen" at the behest of Parliamentary support, hence "public support".
So, if she didn't publicly cut ties with PA, it could have created a crisis. Especially since many veterans were vocal with their disgust about PA.
Sad day for QE.
