Police in Midlothian are appealing for information to help trace 48-year-old Robert Robertson, who has been reported missing.
Robert was last seen in the Gladhouse area around 1pm on Friday 30 December and there are concerns for his welfare.
He is described as being white, around 5ft 10 with a regular build. He may be wearing a navy blue work uniform and fluffy hat.
Inspector David Hughes said: “We are appealing for anyone with information on David’s whereabouts to come forward and contact police as soon as possible.
“There are searches ongoing in the Gladhouse area, including assistance from helicopter at Gladhouse Reservoir. At this time, we would ask members of the public to avoid the area, to allow officers to carry out their work in what is dangerous weather.
“If you believe you can assist our efforts, please call 101, quoting incident 2054 of 30 December, 2022.”
