Found Safe UK - Sarah Garrad, from Devon, last seen driving near Ashburton

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a Devon woman last seen in Ashburton. An appeal has been launched into the disappearance of Sarah Garrad, who was last seen at her home on Wednesday [29 Jun 2022].

The 57-year-old from Plymouth is thought to be driving a black Peugeot 308, registration WF59OFX, a vehicle which was last seen at 7pm on the A38 near Ashburton. Officers are urging the public to report sightings of Sarah or her vehicle by quoting log number 517 29/06/2022.

She is 5,9 inches tall and of an average build, with a blonde bob. Officers also said Sarah was last seen wearing blue three-quarter length trousers, a blue and white patterned top, a black hoodie and black Skechers trainers.

The police helicopter and volunteers from Dartmoor Search and Rescue Service have joined in the search for missing woman Sarah Garrad. Police have become increasingly concerned about the welfare of the 57-year-old, who hails from Plymouth.

She was last seen at home at lunchtime on Wednesday June 29. Her black Peugeot 308 car was seen on the A38 near Ashburton at around 7pm on Wednesday evening.

Police have said that searches are currently underway in the "mid-Dartmoor" area and that the National Police Air Service helicopter is involved along with volunteers from the Dartmoor Search and Rescue Service. The public are urged to report sightings of Sarah or her vehicle on 999 quoting log number 517 29/06/2022.
