Angel of Death baby killer Beverley Allitt is 'fighting for her life at high-security psychiatric hospital after contracting deadly sepsis'

One of Britain's most notorious baby killers was reportedly battling for her life with suspected sepsis last night.

Beverley Allitt, 49, fell ill on Sunday and is now receiving round-the-clock care for the life-threatening condition, according to staff at Rampton high-security hospital in Nottinghamshire.

Allitt - dubbed the 'Angel of Death' - was convicted of killing four children while working as a nurse at Grantham and Kesteven, Lincolnshire in 1991.

Sorry, but having read about what she did I am feeling no compassion at all. Let her die.
