Found Deceased UK - Wendy Grass, 61, Vale of Belvoir, Leics, last seen 6am, 10 Nov 2021

An appeal has been launched to help find a woman who has gone missing from her home in the Vale of Belvoir.

Wendy Grass, 61, was last seen at her home at around 6am today, Wednesday, November 10.

She has never been reported missing before and her family say her disappearance is "out of character".

Wendy, who is around 5ft 4ins tall, is of a slim build and has short, dark hair and wears glasses with a gold frame.

When she was last seen she was wearing a long, grey belted cardigan and grey trousers. She may also have been wearing a long, black puffer-style jacket. It is believed she may also be carrying a black rucksack.

Leicestershire Police are urging anyone who has seen Wendy, or knows of her whereabouts, to contact police quoting incident 82 of 10 November.

Searches have entered a second day to try and locate missing 61 year old Wendy Grass.

Wendy was last seen at her home address in Stathern at around 6am yesterday (Wednesday 10 November). She has never been reported missing before and her family have said it is out of character.

Officers from Leicestershire Police are still searching for Wendy and have been joined by search and rescue teams from Leicestershire and Warwickshire who specialise in lowland Search & Rescue.

Poor woman.

I wish sometimes we knew what was going on with these poor people that pushed them to such drastic measures, if, if course, in this case, it was not an accident.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: "Although the body has not been formally identified, it is believed to be that of 61-year-old Wendy Grass, who had had last been seen at around 6am on Wednesday, November 10 and was reported missing a short time later.
