Police release CCTV footage after woman raped in Castle Park

The victim, aged in her 50s, was raped shortly before 3am on Monday, February 19

'The victim, aged in her 50s, had met the man in the Old Market area of Bristol before walking towards Castle Park where she was raped. Avon and Somerset Police set up a cordon in Castle Park, in the area around The Vaults Cafe near the castle ruins, and officers said CCTV from the area has since been reviewed.

The man in the footage is described as white, approximately 5ft 9ins tall and with short brown hair. He was wearing light brown trousers and a blue, green and purple jacket.'
