This is one I remember seeing a reconstruction for on Crimewatch U.K. in 2011 and it always stuck with me. I haven’t seen much online regarding this case and it still remains unsolved although the police have previously made arrests. CCTV has been released of witnesses and the potential offenders but still, over ten years later, no one has ever been charged. There’s quite a lot of info to go on, I’ve pasted much of it below as well as a link to said article...

An "opportunistic" thief is jailed for stealing a handbag from a pub that happened to contain a £2.2m Fabergé egg.

Enzo Conticello, 29, took Rosie Dawson's handbag which she had placed between her legs on the ground as she stood outside the Dog and Duck in Soho on 7 November 2024.

The Fabergé items were in her handbag after she had taken them for display at a work event earlier that evening. They have not been recovered.

The tragic and brutal killing of Chelmsford pensioner Ron Cousins has been baffling detectives for thirty years. Officers have been investigating the popular Chelmsford resident's death for three decades and still no one has been brought to face justice.
