A 44-year-old man dies in hospital after being found injured in Camden, north London.

"A murder investigation has begun after a man was fatally stabbed in Camden, north London.

Police were called to Camden Gardens at 15:29 BST on Saturday following reports of a stabbing.

A 44-year-old man was treated at the scene by officers and paramedics before being taken to hospital, where he later died.

Police said no arrests had been made, but there was not believed to be any threat to the wider public."

Mark Hanley, a school handyman with a young daughter, told Metro: ‘There were police everywhere, loads of them. There have been problems with the park.

‘It used to be nice for walking the dog, but there are now tents and shelters where homeless people are staying. It’s become a bit of a no-go zone, which is such a shame.

‘The council really need to do something about it. I don’t want my daughter going near it, it’s such a shame. It’s a horrific thing to happen.’"
