Ogden City PD seeks leads in missing, endangered person case | Gephardt Daily

The Ogden City Police Department has assigned investigators the case of missing, endangered adult Coltin Jett.

“Investigators have been working steadily to locate Coltin,” says a news release issued Wednesday, 10 days after the department issued a missing-endangered person poster.

“Officers have followed up on multiple leads and community tips, completed neighborhood canvassing, and continue to pursue all available avenues to bring him home safely.”

According to Coltin's mother, a K9 search team came out the following day after he was reported missing and lost his scent at the end of their driveway. His family along with Ogden Police looked for Coltin in areas around the home and used drones to search.

"My son is very vulnerable, he's not mentally stable, this is why he doesn't live on his own, because he can't," said Minton. "I already have 1,500+ flyers out, people are seeing them in the community which I'm grateful, but I'm not getting any tips of any kind."

The Ogden City Police Department has confirmed that a missing, endangered man named Coltin has been safely located.

OGDEN, Utah, Dec. 6, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — The Ogden City Police Department has confirmed that a missing, endangered man named Coltin has been safely located.

“He was found in Visalia, California, and investigators have been in contact with Coltin’s mother,” the OCPD statement says of the formerly missing 20-year-old man, who had last been seen by family members in mid November.

His mother “is now with Coltin at a relative’s home in California as they prepare to return to Utah.
