Circumstances of Disappearance Elias was last seen in his red Mustang vehicle in Springville, UT on 06/18/2017. His bike was near his vehicle and his safe had been broken into. His vehicle appeared to be severely damaged. There has been no sign of Elias since.

Details of Disappearance
Humes was last seen near his red Mustang in Springville, Utah on June 18, 2017. He has never been heard from again. His bicycle was found at a relative's place of business near his Mustang, which had been severely damaged, and his safe was found broken into.

It's uncharacteristic of Humes to leave without warning. He is missing under suspicious circumstances and his case remains unsolved.

Find Missing Elias Robert Humes!

Per the flyer, Elias was last seen near his 1996 Ford Mustang with all his belongings which had been parked at his grandfather's place of business located at 220 W. 2000 St, S. Springville, UT. His BMX bike was also there. No contact with family or friends is out of character.

He's no longer listed in NamUs. I also see his family published an obituary in July 2019.

The obit says he passed doing what he loved - hiking in nature. I presume his remains were found. I can only think he went hiking without telling anyone where he was headed and he fell or was injured in some way.

Elias was my brother. He went missing in June of 2017 we had no leads or information of his whereabouts. Until February 2018 skeletal remains were located in the mountains nearby. While at the time I was convinced they were the remains of my brother we had to confirm through DNA so from the time he was located and when the confirmation finally confirmed in July this year that it was in fact Eli. It is presumed that it was a accident however due to the state of the remains it has been listed as undetermined. Thank you all for concern during a difficult time
