Yikes. I’m glad the girls are ok. I hope they both get the proper counseling they will need.
The 14 yr old. My gosh. Gah

Sometimes I feel like I’ve entered a parallel world and this stuff can’t be real.

This is honestly terrifying... what was the brother really giving the younger sister? Because that doesn’t sound like marijuana effects to me...

"...He subsequently told the officer, 'Someone told me to do it..."

"'[The 17-yr-old sister] stated Mike has been acting really strange lately where he has been meditating a lot where
he claims to go to different dimensions and talking about a lot of bad people,' according to the affidavit."

Early signs of schizophrenia? Potentially aggravated by the marijuana he had been smoking? Supposedly he had sold the marijuana to the 14-yr-old sister too. Maybe they both had a bad reaction that triggered a psychosis or even folie à deux. This can happen especially in younger people.

"[The 14-yr-old daughter] told detectives that she and Lopez "have been together a lot lately and they take turns sleeping so they can watch over one another."

"The girl then claimed it was not her mother who was shot, then smiled when asked about dancing with her brother after the shooting, the affidavit states, adding that she began "to recite the song" and "did not show any emotion" during the police interview.

They both sound paranoid and delusional for sure.
