UT - Parenting influencer, Ruby Franke, and blogger/podcast partner Jodi Hildebrandt, arrested for Child Abuse, Aug 2023 #2

You all need to watch the 3 part series on Hulu about the Franke family. I have to give it to Kevin, the dad, he was brutally honest and he does not come out looking good in this story.
He look better than she do ! I think he could call it a win , 50/50 ON IT.

Family channels are horrible. Filming your child's life, their growth and their mistakes for profit should be ILLEGAL. Everyone makes mistakes as a child and teenager, imagine the mistakes you made being viewed by millions of people, who will judge you. As a parent, how in the world are you ok with putting your child on the internet. Ruby is where she belongs, behind bars, away from her children who are safer without her in their lives. Like she said, she loves truth more than her children, well here is the truth; SHE IS AN ABUSER. I watched the series and I am sorry but Kevin should have prioritised his children over his wife, but he didn't, instead he moved out and cut them off. The kids should never forgive both Ruby AND Kevin, while Ruby physically abused them and manipulated them, Kevin neglected them, straight up choosing to believe his wife over his children who were pleading for him to stay.

Utah mom influencers sharing their traditional Mormon home lives are booming on Instagram and YouTube.

Now, the state is poised to enact dramatic protections for the kids in those videos by giving them the right to remove embarrassing clips when they are older and to share in the revenue. The governor is expected to sign a bill that would make Utah the first red state among a handful of others that have passed laws extending the rights of child TV stars to child internet stars.

TikTok is full of these Utah moms, it's insane.
Social media was made for this generation of Molly Mormons. I can only imagine the burnout is exponentially higher than when I was a kid. It's one thing to project the image of perfection at church, at firesides, at conferences, at service projects. It's a whole nother level when you're broadcasting the intimate details of your home to the world.

I read once that Utah had the highest antidepressant use per capita of the states. Don't know if it was or still is true, but I believe it. The pressure to be perfect is real, and every single person is doomed to fail. That eats people alive.

MOO

I know. They all look the same, dress the same, act the same way, the houses all look the same too, the husbands are all the same too. Weird.

That's the church.

I was Born in Church. Not a Utah Mormon, that's its own subculture in the broader church, but any kind of manifesting of individuality can make you feel very, very unwelcome.

I left once I turned eighteen. I still live with two active members.

MOO

Yes, interesting series.

I heard he still supports her. He is a gutless wonder..... 2 Cents

Ruby Franke is now officially divorced from her husband, Kevin Franke. Here are their divorce terms.

The couple agreed their Springville home would be transferred to Kevin Franke, along with a 2.8-acre property in Scofield, Carbon County.

Under the divorce agreement, Ruby Franke will keep about $85,000 she withdrew from financial accounts when she stopped living with her husband, but any other financial accounts outside of an investment account under Ruby Franke’s name will be given entirely to Kevin Franke.

IMO:
From the get-go after the arrests KF has mostly gotten a pass and has gained victim status.
I say this even after having watched a few YT Mormon videos of hosts and guests who are ex-Mormons and highly informed about RF,KF and JH and the church.
Listening to KF's phone calls with RF when she first went to jail was more than telling that the abuse she inflicted on his 2 hospitalized children was a footnote to him.
I was beyond disgusted that he would even speak with her.

I'd like to know if any of the 6 children received money in this divorce settlement for their years of being the parent's little money-makers for them on YT's channel?
Has it ever been confirmed what if any money the 6 children got/trust fund while they were filming and after it was over before JH entered the picture?

It’s says she gets to keep the 85 thousand dollars she embezzled from the family, and that she will keep the last name Franke. Not a smart move.
IMO:
If she gets to keep the $85,00 I gather that her attorney LaMar Winward is a private defense lawyer and being paid by her/family and not working the case as a public defender.

When she gets out she will still be able to cash in on her evil ways that put her behind bars because we live in a society that no matter what you've done if money can be made off of you
Interviews, book, documentary etc you're good to go.
She'll jump on the bandwagon of herself also having been a victim of a cult leader(JH) saying that she wants to help people in cults, trying to get out, or left the cult and can't navigate their future blah, blah, blah.
Oh, and she'll get the devil in there too, that works wonders with certain people to make them big fans.

IMO:
RF's sisters/brother is where I hit a road block.
RF's brother BG claims his sister was a victim of JH.
RF's sisters claim that for years they did everything legally possible to protect the children.
I have yet to come across anything proving what the sister's claimed after JF was arrested.
What did I miss?
Do I have this right?
When Shari moved out she did go to LE (?) for a wellness check and no one answered the door at the house and that was it?
At that time she was in touch with her mother's family and/or sisters?
