Bonnie is still exploiting her own children on YouTube and Instagram so it seems like the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. I just looked at her YouTube channel and all the thumbnails are of her children.

Social media was made for this generation of Molly Mormons. I can only imagine the burnout is exponentially higher than when I was a kid. It's one thing to project the image of perfection at church, at firesides, at conferences, at service projects. It's a whole nother level when you're broadcasting the intimate details of your home to the world.

I read once that Utah had the highest antidepressant use per capita of the states. Don't know if it was or still is true, but I believe it. The pressure to be perfect is real, and every single person is doomed to fail. That eats people alive.

IIRC: Whoever the head honcho is in the Mormon Church he had encouraged his flock to use social media to spread the word.
His request was also in print which was read on an ex-Mormon YT.
It began with women blogging, most were stay at home moms and it gave them a sense of purpose and this eventually morphed into YT.
"I can do that too" and also make $$$$.
What surprised me was the high divorce rate which I have yet to see addressed on the ex-Mormon YTs.
I won't even get started on Mormons having to go to their Bishops(?) and confess every sexual thought or action that is condemned by the church.

I'd like to know if any of the 6 children received money in this divorce settlement for their years of being the parent's little money-makers for them on YT's channel?
Has it ever been confirmed what if any money the 6 children got/trust fund while they were filming and after it was over before JH entered the picture?

I watched that documentary about the mom YT vlogger who rehomed the child she adopted from China. It heavily focuses on the ethical and moral issues of YTer’s making money off of their children. It goes into how the algorithms are setup so that videos will get more views if the title is something shocking or dramatic and how moms are literally having more children because pregnancy announcement and gender reveal videos and all the other videos that build excitement leading up to the birth of a child get astronomical views.

It was probably one of the most disturbing and disgusting things I’ve ever seen in my life. It made me REALLY ANGRY. I am almost always anti-government oversight and control when it comes to private business decisions, but I really wish more laws were in place to prevent the exploitation of minors on social media. Like make it illegal for parents to do this. It’s so detrimental to the mental health and development of these kids. It’s gross.
