Police searching for missing Syracuse man

Paul Arbuckle has been missing since 6:30 p.m. Friday, when he was out drinking and told her that he was going for a walk. Deborah also stated that it wasn't uncommon for Paul to go on walks, but added he usually just walks around the block.

Paul has never done this before as Deborah stated, along with no history of mental illness and doesn't own any weapons. Syracuse Police also said there's no reason to believe he's in danger.

The sequence of events listed in above posts are somewhat confusing. Did Paul go out drinking at a local bar and then came home and then told his wife that he was going for a walk or was he going to walk home from bar or maybe neighbor's home. Paul's wife states that he has never done anything like this before but Police say there is no reason to believe Paul is in any danger what makes them think that. Is anyone or any group actually searching for Paul.

According to a family friend, he had been drinking, but was at home when his wife and daughter came home from work on Friday. I'm speculating that the Police didn't believe he was in danger because of 30 years in the military, no history of outward mental illness and is a respected member with strong ties to the community. There is a search party happening right now.

The guy could have had a medical emergency- that is being in danger, to me, anyway.

Davis County family looking for their missing father, husband

They said he left the house Friday night and went for a walk to clear his head after having a couple beers, which was normal for him. They said he always came back home, but this time he didn't.


Detectives with the Syracuse Police Department said they are not actively looking for him, because at this time, there is nothing to suggest he is in any danger.

Man reported missing in Syracuse found dead

Syracuse Police stated Paul Arbuckle was found dead by searchers Monday afternoon with the help of a Department of Public Safety helicopter.
