If there were people who knew him before he died, why can't they narrow the age range a little? 18-99 could be anyone! Surely they know at least his rough age?

Totally agree from what I gathered (2) men were transients they actually just met the 3rd man that night in which he survived but do nit believe he knew them well. (1) transient man that was rescued and brought to a hospital but I'm not clear as to wether he survived or not.

Totally agree thou at least an idealistic age would help

That's so sad. That's the sort of story you would usually see in a newspaper, with a depressing headline.

RIP Chuck Kentucky, I hope you're actually identified soon.

Doesn't necessarily mean he hasn't been compared--not all LE agencies update Namus regularly and quite a few of the ones that do don't make the list visible to the public. It's fewer than it used to be, and many many more agencies are conscientious about updating, thank goodness.

Looks like a good possibility. He fits all the known stats. It’s a shame there’s no more information known (about either men).

Since even a cursory look at Namus would have turned him up, I'm going to guess they looked at the possibility and weren't able to pursue it any further because of that lack of information.

I feel bad for the unidentified homeless and transient Does. Even when somebody cares, there's nothing to go on.
