52 Year Old Woman Missing From Remote Area of Utah County

A 52 year old Oasis, Utah woman is missing after her SUV was found in a remote part of southwest Utah County. Searchers have not yet been able to find her.

Authorities seek public’s help locating missing Millard County woman

According to the release, Morrill’s husband said his wife left their home on Saturday between 6 and 8 p.m. and possible took as much as $3,000 in cash. She reportedly had no credit cards and didn’t take her cellphone.

so the article also states that the hubby didn't report her missing until the abandoned car was found and police contacted the hubby.
also she is suffering emotionally.

IMO she left the car with the doors open. why the $3000? where did she go? I wonder if a friend helped her out.

I am so, so tired of cases where families find their deceased missing loved ones. I cannot imagine anything more traumatizing than finding the decomposing remains of your missing family member. It's impossible for me to believe that police departments nationwide are too understaffed to search for missing people over and over again--especially when there's credible evidence of where they can be found. I truly believe many law enforcement agencies do not care about low-priority (i.e. not wealthy or given heavy media attention) missing persons, and it is shameful.

My heart goes out to these families. It's unfortunate there aren't more organizations like Texas Equsearch out there, clearly there is a great need. Even a missing persons advocacy organization that provides a go-between for families and LE would be welcome. I wish I had more time, because someone needs to encourage LE to care, and most devastated families of victims are not in a position to do so.
