Virginia State Police has issued a Senior Alert for a missing Loudoun County man with a cognitive impairment.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is searching Albert Vandegriek, 87, of Sterling, who was last seen on Monday around 2 p.m. driving at Providence Village Drive. Officials said he is driving a white 2004 Subaru station wagon with Virginia license plate ZJ-2363.

He is described as a white male, with blue eyes, 6-foot-2 and weighs 195 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black and white shirt with gray pants.

Officials said Vandegriek suffers from a cognitive impairment

Anyone with information is asked to call the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office at 703-777-1021 or 911.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing Sterling man who was last seen in the area of Providence Village Drive this afternoon.

Albert Vandegriek, 88, is believed to driving a white 2004 Subaru station wagon with Virginia license plate ZJ-2363. He is considered endangered due to mental and/or physical health concerns.

He is described as being 6’2”, 195 pounds, with blue eyes and white hair.

Anyone with any information regarding Mr. Vandegriek’s possible whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office at 703-777-1021 or dial 911.
