Fairfax County Police are looking for 3-year-old Amelia (Mimi) Kraus, whom they say was taken from home at 4:25 p.m. in the area by her mother, 35-year-old Catherine Kraus.

Police have labeled Amelia as "missing and endangered."

Officers say Amelia was taken by her mother, 35-year-old Catherine Kraus. Catherine is known to wear wigs or may be bald.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — Multiple police departments are reporting a 3-year-old girl has been abducted in Fairfax County.

Police say the child is believed to be in extreme danger and was last seen at Tauxemont Road in Alexandria, around 4:30 p.m.

The child is Amelia Marianna Kraus & believed to have been abducted by Catherine Agnes Kraus:

• White Female
• Blonde hair
• Brown eyes
• 5 foot 10 inches tall
• 170 pounds.

She is believed to be wearing a wig and has shaved her head.
