Circumstances of Disappearance:
Allen went missing from Emporia, Virginia on November 20, 1997. He was last seen between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. leaving the Zipmart on Main Street. He was walking to his home on West End Boulevard when someone offered him a ride and he got into their vehicle. He has never been heard from again.

Allen was on disability due to an injury he sustained while working a construction job but he hasn't cashed any of his Social Security checks since he disappeared. He is a former Marine and left behind three children. Few details are available regarding Allen's case and his whereabouts remain unknown.

In the PM photo of UP995 I think there is a blue and brown flannel shirt visible which is not mentioned on NamUs. I don't think the clothing description is complete, as I don't think he was only wearing a coat and cap, he must have had a shirt and trousers.
UP995 was found on the sidewalk and transported to the hospital but it's not mentioned if he had had a medical episode or some sort of injury. If it was a medical issue, it could match with CA's epilepsy and lack of medication for a few days.
There is a post mortem photo of UP995, but it's very dark and it's not easy to distinguish many details. I am not good with faces and Mr. Allen's picture is a side view, but I see some similarities there, especially in the hairline, eyebrows and mustache. When zooming in on both their photos I think I see some marks on their faces that seem to be in the same places (near the nose, between the eyebrows, on the forehead), but those can be due to the poor quality of the photos.
I thought they were similar enough to warrant a comparison, even though the distance between where Mr. Allen was last seen and where UP995 was found is pretty significant (approx. 320 miles). Mr. Allen was last seen getting into a vehicle, so maybe that could account for the distance?
