Virginia Missing & Endangered Child Alert ACTIVATION for Missing Charlottesville Toddler & Mother

Charlottesville Police Department is searching for 2-year-old Daniel Burnett and his mother, Casey Carter. They may be traveling in a red 1998 Saturn sedan with Virginia license plate: VFW1088.

Daniel has blue eyes and blonde hair. He is 2'8 in height and weighs 35 lbs. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with "Osh Kosh" printed on it, along with gray cargo pants.

Casey Carter has brown hair and blue eyes. She is 5'6 in height and weighs 120 lbs.

According to police, the family has made contact with the mother and child and they have no more concerns about their well-being.

The mother and child are no longer considered missing.
