NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — “When I woke up Wednesday morning, I had this feeling in my stomach that my son was gone.”

After seven sleepless nights, Tracey Jordan and her mother, Mittize Jordan are coming to terms with the likelihood that they have said their last goodbye to the young man who checked in with them daily.

Officers with the Norfolk Police Department are searching for Daquan A. Jordan, 31, a missing man they believe to be dead.

Norfolk Police are investigating the incident as “a missing person case and a presumption-of-death investigation,” and so are loved ones.

Police are looking for 31-year-old Daquan A. Jordan, last seen on October 14. His case is considered both a missing person case and a presumption of death case.

His poor mother, I'm sure she was aware of his legal troubles but it doesn't make it right that he would be harmed.

I wondered why the police were so certain that he was murdered but at the time he went missing he was legally a fugitive. Perhaps he was involved with others in a criminal activity, and the police were aware of the risks they might have posed to him. Hope there is justice for him., he made his mistakes but he was a non violent offender and was still young enough to turn things around.
