The Hampton Police Division is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Elaine Lenora Williams who was last seen at approximately 5:30 p.m., on November 29, 2018.
At approximately 7:54 p.m., officers Were called and responded to the 2000 block of Executive Drive to the Floor and Decor business. Once in scene officers met with the adult caretaker for the missing subject.
Officers were informed by the caretaker that while out on a shopping trip with Williams, who has a developmental disability that she is prescribed medication for, that she fled from a store and has not been seen or heard from since. Williams is not in possession of any of her prescribed medication and at this time all efforts to locate or contact her have been unsuccessful. Williamsis a black female, standing 5’6” tall, weighs approximately 165 lbs, has black hair with brown eyes, and is 26 years of age. She was last observed on foot and wearing a gold headband, a white puffy coat approximately 3/4 in length, a turquoise coat underneath the white puffy coat, purple leggings, and purple tennis shoes.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Elaine Lenora Williams or any information that will assist police is encouraged to contact the Hampton Police Division at 757-727-6111 or the Crime Line at 1 - 888-LOCK-U-UP. Tipsters can also send an anonymous tip via text message to the Crime Line by texting “HAMPTONPDTIPS plus your tip” to 274637 (CRIMES). Crime Line callers remain anonymous and never appear in court. If a Crime Line call results in an arrest, the caller is eligible for a reward up to $1,000.00.”
