*MISSING ENDANGERED ADULT: The Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing and endangered adult, Eli Joseph BLAHUT. The investigation revealed that Eli was last seen at a location on Ashton Ave in the Manassas area of Prince William County on January 26. He resides on Hastenbeck Dr in Gainesville. Eli is believed to be missing under voluntarily circumstances and may need assistance, which qualifies him as endangered. Anyone with information on this person’s whereabouts is asked to call Prince William County police at 703-792-6500 or your local police department.

He was last seen wearing a brown leather jacket with a cream-colored stripe on the arm and white Nike shoes

Drug offense is odd, since he appears to be somewhat of a health/fitness fanatic...

There is a couple more with exact same name that possibly could be him. But, one states that he lives in CA and the other NJ. Strange.

According to that report he was charged with possession in 2015. IMO it’s not a huge red flag for anything much to be said about it until there’s further evidence that he’s currently using. If that is the case, the only thing that should change IMO is the search tactics used. I absolutely hate reading about cases that lose coverage and attention because it comes out that the missing loved one has an addiction or some other stigmatized position that actually makes them that much more vulnerable.

Yes, people don't realize the more that you know about someone's current or old habits (regardless if they are good or bad) can be helpful in trying to find them.

Ok, this is confusing/odd. He was last seen on the 25th of January and they DO have him listed as missing but he bought a ticket to Alaska? It states that even though they think he is there voluntarily, they still consider him endangered and continue to seek assistance in locating him?

So, he bought a ticket to Alaska... I wonder if they’ve viewed video at the airport? I’d think so. Surely. They would know where in Alaska he went. That airport videos could be viewed as well. After that, I’m not sure how they’d track him short of eyewitnesses. I wonder how large of a transaction he made at the ATM? He’d need cash again eventually. Maybe they could get the video from the ATM in Alaska if he uses one there. I hope they find him soon and safe. Maybe he just needed a break from family/friends. JMO

Since 9/11 anyone buying a one way ticket and paying cash immediately goes on TSA's radar. Not sure if the ticket was paid for the ATM cash though or that was just his traveling money.
