RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond police are asking for the public’s help in locating a Richmond woman who has been missing for over a year.

Kathryn I. Brady, 60, who may also go by the alias Kathryn B. Gafvert-Wehrfritz, was last seen on June 26, 2016 by a family member near 7[SUP]th[/SUP] and Hospital Streets in the wood line. She last had contact with VCU Police on July 29, 2016 at 1213 East Clay Street.

Police say she may frequent homeless encampments in the city.

[h=1]Woman missing for nearly a year has been found[/h]

Richmond police on Monday said that Kathryn I. Brady, who hadn't been seen in nearly a year, has been found.


“Due to an overwhelming response from the community, Kathryn Brady has been located and is safe. Thank you everyone who provided information which led us to Ms. Brady,” wrote Detective W.E. Thompson in a news release.
