Incident occured November 12 2010


A Virginia teenager has died more than a week after he was found injured along a Spotsylvania County road.

Kevin Sullivan Sr. told the Free Lance-Star his son, 17-year-old Kevin Sullivan Jr., died Saturday November 20th 2010.

The younger Sullivan had been hospitalized in Fredericksburg since being found in a ditch in Spotsylvania November 12. He suffered a head injury, collapsed lung, broken ribs and internal injuries.

The Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office is investigating, but says there are no witnesses and it's uncertain how Sullivan was injured.

I reported this years ago to the Spotsy police and FBI and nothing was ever done. I told them who was involved. A girl and her boyfriend. Both knew Kevin and both were gang members. The girl's mother was a federal Marshal at the time and worked at the Pentagon. She was very good friends with most of the Spotsy Sheriff's Department. The girl who was involved father was a well know local radio personality. The federal marshal mother allowed her daughter traffick drugs out of her apartment. The mother had full knowledge and let it go on. She was the definition of a dirty cop. Her daughter was also an informant for law enforcement because of her gang affiliation at the time. I personally feel like there was a cover up. Why wasn't she even questioned??? I also reached out to Kevin's father on Facebook but never heard back from him. I hope he finds justice.

I wonder if you could report it to the FBI even though they’re not involved in the case?

I'm not 100% on this, but I believe the FBI has to be invited by local LE to investigate a case, but even so, if that girl's mom is a US Marshal......

Honestly, IMO calling your senators/representatives can be a lot more effective, especially since LE here isn't interested in investigating. I've called Mark Warner's office (senator for VA) for assistance on things at the state level and they have always been veeeery helpful. I've never called about anything like this, but I see not reason NOT to bring it to their attentionn.
