I know this area well. My parents currently live about a-2 miles from this location. Although in 1991 I was away in the Military and family lived in nearby Chesapeake. I don't recall hearing about this before today. The first thing that strikes me is that 600 block of Lynnhaven Parkway is about 2 miles give or take from the intersection of Lynnhaven and VB Blvd. I wonder if all of the friends at the restaurant had solid alibis for after the restaurant.

I knew Michelle. Not well, but I was close with people who were close to her. I was just a little girl, but I was in a musical with Michelle that wrapped not too long before she was killed. She was a darling lady. I still have a note she gave me.

Over the years I’ve often thought about her and I’ve checked-up on her case by searching whatever info I can find.

Does anyone know if there has been any re-testing of DNA with newer technology? Or was the sample destroyed? I wonder what was meant by “partial profile.” Would it be enough, by today’s standards” to run for Y-SRT or SNP profiling.

Is there anyone advocating for her case?
