Jay" on his upper arm, a naked woman on his upper arm, a dog on his chest and Chinese characters on both forearms. His hair was in dreadlocks at the time of his disappearance.

Details of Disappearance​

Givens was last seen in front of his apartment in the 6100 block of Lakepoint Drive in Prince George, Virginia on June 9, 2008. He had just returned home from a trip with friends to Atlantic City, New Jersey. He has never been heard from again.

Givens may be driving a blue 1996 Nissan Infiniti sedan with the Virginia license plate number KLZ-9936. Few details are available in his case.

I stumbled across this YouTube video doing a Google search. I do not believe it provides any additional information that isn't already known, but wanted to add to this thread.

 
I have heard nothing back from the family's FB page. It is possible they have given up. Just bumping as I believe this is possibly a water accident.
 
I finally got in touch with Shawn's sister, Tynesha. Very nice lady. Based on the information she provided, the family has paid for helicopter searches as well as hiring a private investigator with zero results. She has no recollection of how well Shawn did while he was in Atlantic City, so could not really confirm nor deny that someone may have wanted to kill him for his money. However, she did mention that after time, when her family needed to clean out Shawn's apartment, his wallet and other valuables were still present. Tynesha did appear to have reservations about a certain person connected to Shawn, but that person also passed a polygraph.

Tynesha, like myself believes this may have been a water incident. According to her, LE has done no water search for Shawn. I inquired as to where Shawn may have been heading after he went to the Valero gas station and she believed he was heading back home, which for me at least, limits the available bodies of water where Shawn may have possibly had an accident.
